Mr Watkins

These are the types of events I love to shoot, interesting characters in a charmful pub (Mr Watkins). Most of these were shot with the Fujifilm XT4 & Kipon IBELUX 40mm lens (an all manual focusing fast f0.85 lens, review here). I really wanted to stress the low light capability of this lens, a dimly lit pub suited well, suffice to say I think it did great. I was quite unprepared for how clean some of the images came out.
These are all lightly retouched straight out of camera jpg shots, using the Pale Negative recipe. I may revisit the RAWs and process another way another day (probably mono).

Close up shots were taken using either a +1 or +2 close-up diopter filter.

Thanks for looking, use the About page if you would like to make a booking.
