Bec’s Garden with the Pentax F70-210/4-5.6

I woke up Saturday morning to quite a bit of fog around our street. I decided to take the Pentax SMC F70-210 for a walk around the block, to test out it’s performance from this old 1980’s lens. I quickly customized the image profile SATOBI in my Pentax K-1 and got snapping.
I was particularly impressed with Bec’s garden, a superb range of colours to test out the lens colour cast and rendering. Bec was also nice enough to show me the rooster that totally does not wake us up in the morning :)

And here are the settings I used for the shoot. Remember they have all been slightly enhanced in post production, not much, 10 sec edits of some basic slider fudging.

SATOBI with a +2, +2, -1, +4 and -1 Profile.

White Balance set to Daylight (it was overcast and foggy/diffused soft light) with an A2 tilt.

Highlight Correction On but Shadow Recovery kept off for the most part. If I felt I needed it on I would toggle it to the amount I desired from this shortcut menu here.

Thanks for looking, any questions feel free to leave them below. Cheers.
